AUTHORITY
In exercise of the power vested in the Honorable Attorney General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Minister of Justice under the Section 1(b) (i) of the Companies and Allied Matters (Amendment) Decree 1990 No. 32 Authorized the Registration of the Memorandum of Association of African Institute of Science and Technology.
Following the Authorization, the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria accredited and issued the Certificate of Incorporation of the African Institute of Science and Technology, incorporated and Registered under the Companies and Allied Matters Decree 1990 by the Registrar General, Corporate Affairs Commission Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Institute has developed a standard teaching and research facilities for educational programmes which provides employment opportunities to Nigerians and also to the local community dwellers.

VISION
To encourage and certify the highest standards of professionalism in Science and Technology practice in Nigeria.
MISSION
To Register and License Science and Technology Personnel and Organizations and Make provisions for the control of Science and Technology practice in Nigeria and elsewhere in Africa.
To determine the academic standards of courses and accredit programmes to be offered by institutions training Science and Technology Personnel.
To nurture speedy acquisition of relevant Science and Technological skills through Continuous Professionalism Development.
To ensure that Science and Technology are practiced to improve the quality of life and promote sustainable development in Nigeria and elsewhere in Africa.
To promote and certify stability and cooperation within Science and Technology Family.
